Makdous

The traditional Middle Eastern speciality Makdous from Durra, made from smaller aubergines stuffed with walnuts, red pepper and garlic and preserved in quality sunflower oil. It is distinguished by a rich, gently piquant and tangy flavour with the crunchy texture of the nuts. Ideal as part of a traditional mezze, with cheese, olives or with Arabic bread.
