Dana - Mixed pickled vegetables (مخلل مشكل)
Al Dana mixed pickled vegetables (Makhloul Mushakkal) are a traditional Middle Eastern side dish containing a crunchy mix of cucumbers, carrot, turnip, cauliflower and pepper. The vegetables are preserved in a gently sour brine with a light salty accent. They go wonderfully as a refreshing accompaniment to grilled meat, kebab, falafel, hummus or in shawarma-style sandwiches.
